A-14 Structural Battens

These light weight aluminum battens are structurally much stronger than 1.5" schedule 40 pipe. Their design allows for wider drop distances (up to 20 feet between drops). Vortek also supplies schedule 40 pipe as an alternative.

Loft Blocks


Vortek wire rope loft-block sheaves are injection molded from high strength, glass filled Nylatron which has been shown to be less abrasive to wire rope than steel by the SAE. Vortek loft-blocks with Nylatron extended the life of the wire rope beyond that of steel sheaves. They feature (2) molded in, shielded ball bearings, and weigh only 8.3 lbs. each. Vortek loft-blocks incorporate injection-molded side-plates to reduce weight, and loft-block housings fully encapsulate the sheave for dirt and debris protection, intrusion prevention and safety.
