Vortek systems are available in double purchase (compound) configurations. Vortek utilizes compound loft blocks, in configurations that double the lifting capacity of each standard Vortek unit. Double purchase systems are ideal when lifting objects as heavy as 4000 lb/1814 kg(at 10 ft/min/0.05 m/sec).
Typical applications include: large electric battens, orchestra shells/ceilings and heavy sets and trusses.
Vortek double purchase configurations are available with all Vortek Classic hoists.
*If speed is a concern, the Pro Series (VAC) controller grouping feature offers an alternative solution for applications that require the lifting of heavier loads. Contact Vortek about options for customized applications.
