The Vortek A-14 battens are lightweight and structurally stronger than 1.5" schedule 40 pipe. The design of the battens allows for wider drop distances (up to 29 ft/6.1 m between drops). The batten is ideal for wider stages and house light applications as the backbone for FOH (Front of House) lighting pipes or a HL (House Light)lowering system. Other uses for the A-14 include: curtain track, electrics and scenery batten.
